Jim West's archenemy Miguelito Loveless destroys our hero using hallucinogenic drugs.. Watch Jim strip down to shave in the first few minutes, showing off his muscled pecs and abs and then see Miguelito gloat over him as he conquers James' mind...

  • If all the people around the globe who have lusted after Robert Conrad were to join hands and focus, we could birth new islands in the Pacific. Change topography. Forget that Hands Across America crap, this is the real thing. Let us unite in our lust for Bob Conrad and we can SAVE THE PLANET!

  • that Dr Loveless was amazing, a great character and portrayal

  • 6.03 Looks alot like Cheyenne Jackson

  • FUDGE

  • Isn't this show supposed to be when Grant was President? What's with all the shaving? There's not one beard on the set.

  • Robert Conrad was under-rated as an actor. I remember years after Wild Wild West, he starred in a tv movie called "Will--the Triumph of G. Gordon Liddy" where he played the Watergate burglar. He was OUTSTANDING in the role and I remember the reviewers went out of their way to praise his performance.

  • @frantic1971 Barbara Eden, in "I Dream of Jeanie" was never allowed to show her navel...

  • Robert Conrad did not kill anyone. The man he was in the collision with died years later of an ulcer.

  • @inkey2 Yes he was a good actor.. He's the type of nemesis I would like to have ifI had to choose.. =-)

  • Has anyone ever noticed in these tv shows from the 60's, that if anyone ever appeared bare from the waist up, that they had their pants pulled high so you can't see their navel?

I remember reading a book about the old "Star Trek" tv show where they talk about this, and apparently it was considered verboten by the network censors to show someone's navel on tv--whether man or woman. Check out the shirtless George Takei scene in the original "Trek"--he has his pants almost up to his nipples.

  • @hoesey OK, manslaughter then. Still not a good thing at all. Guess he still figured he was James West and could get away with anything, NOT !!

  • @mrstevehartman Okay, to settle this issue once and for all I did some internet work and came up with this account of what happened in northern California with Conrad. Turns out we were both somewhat correct. According to Wikipedia...

Well, I tried posting the gist of the article but it's too long to fit here so go to the Wiki site (Robert Conrad) and scroll down to "Personal life." The story about this discussion is there.
