@sharkroy should of contacted the Eastman Rep, he's a really cool dude. A stinking guitar, never heard of that one before. Remember that these guitars are hand crafted in a huge factory, an oxymoron. These guitars are hit or miss, my first Eastman had a weak neck but I got it replaced. Now I found my hit, and she plays and sounds like... well... I don't ever wanna stop playing this guitar.

I actually am trying to buy an Eastman El Rey 3 from a guy, but the finish stank so bad (gross bad varnish smell) that I wouldn't buy it. The guy sent it back for warranty and told me that Eastman said there is no issue with the guitar. (They said It doesn't stink) ??? Don't buy an Eastman unless you smell it first. Not just the case, that is a different smell. . .The guitar literally smelled like Body Odor. Eastman factory said there is no bad smell and wouldn't correct the problem. Sad.

For the first 2 minutes, it's a loose improv on my tune "Bordertown" from my first CD. The rest of the time it's just B.S.!

what is the guitar in the background? its on a stand but looks like its against the wall. not an AS200 or something is it?
