Pingualuit crater in Nunavik: early visitors to a new tourist attraction

Before joining ENP Machiel Lamers conducted his PhD on the impacts and regulatory challenges of tourism development in Antarctica. His PhD research included research expeditions and field trips to the Antarctic and Arctic region, during which short videoclips were made showing research activities. The research experiences of Machiel Lamers in the Polar Regions demonstrate the global character of ENP research activities. The video shows a group of tourism researchers visiting the unique Pingualuit crater in Nunavik, which a potential tourist attraction in the Canadian Arctic.
