why have you cyclists declared war on motorists. Honestly, every little indiscretion by a motorist becomes amajor issue with you lot. Loud hooters, cameras and running commentary with vehicle reg numbers. You lot havne got number plates and the number of times RECENTLY that Ive been cut up or inconvenienced by a damn cyclist I am unable to report you. WE have to put up with it.

Doesn't look like a particularly safe road - is there an alternative route? You may have the right to ride on this sort of road, but I tend to avoid them - fast traffic and for some reason drivers are terrified of crossing the line into the next lane.
-
jeez how much road do you need? seems like it should be you giving other's some space.

Gay horn. Bet you've tassels hanging out the handle bars and playing cards in the spokes to make a burring noise. What sort of no life knob films his bike rides?

buy a car and pay road tax
It is not "Road Tax" so your comment regarding the fact that you don't damage the road is void. Do you enjoy the road signs? Do you like the road to be swept? Do you like to see cycle lanes provided (not that you use them)?
More importantly, your statement that cyclists obey the highway code is so funny I laughed all the way to work...
As an LGV instructor!

@toniWB I generally don't like cycle lanes (complete waste of money - just improve the road surfaces for all) as they are generally inadequate for use. I am also pretty sure I could function without any road signs, however 'road tax'; roads are paid for out of general taxation (eg. our income tax). Some vehicles pay for their emissions (my motorbike included). Road tax is not enough to fund the roads. annndd Certainly not all road users obey the hwc. It's not just a cycling issue.......

@toniWB .....this is not an cyclists Vs them thing. I can drive and ride a motorbike, have insurance for cycling & motorcycling. I pay "road tax" where necessary. It's much more a good road users VS bad road users...And I am sure as an LGV instructor you witness inconsiderate driving/riding from all groups of vehicle/cycle users - not just one group.

Bloody cyclists think they own the road. Get some insurance on the bike then whinge
danny27404 8 months ago
@danny27404 Actually, I have third party insurance and legal protection. So in event of an accident my liability is fully covered, and I have legal aid to pursue a claim against anyone at fault. You'll find most cyclists will be insured as standard under their home insurance (personal liability insurance), I also have CTC cover, as mentioned. Annnnnddd bicycles are "road tax" empt before you start thinking that (just like many "eco" cars)

a think that bikes should be taxed and insured to use the road or they should just shut up a drive a truck and often meet bikes runing 2 or 3 a breast if ur on the road u should take ur chance like abody else

@TheBuff07 I am insured thanks....and I pay tax on a motorbike, where as like some cars, my bicycle is exempt.
