Using a simple camcorder to do your own video analysis may be the biggest secret to boosting pitching velocity and to improve overall pitching performance while reducing arm injuries.
Discover how easy it is to learn how to videotape your son's pitching mechanics so he can improve his pitching velocity and control while reducing the risk of a pitching arm injury.
Without videotaping it is impossible to recognize mechanical faults that reduce pitching velocity or add stress to the arm.
Coaches or experienced instructors who are not videotaping are just guessing. The advantage to learning how to videotape is you can compare one game to another or one practice bullpen to another or a pitcher from one month to the next.
Videotaping is used by only a handful of coaches or instructors because most are not well versed in pitching mechanics.
For more information check out my Explosive Pitching instructional DVD's on how any parent or coach can learn how to videotape their own son and help him improve his velocity and control while reducing the risk of injury.

kids stride needs to go straight not from left to right will allow him to square up to the target=control plus drive from the mound=velocity

@jakekn13 the point he is trying to make is that his mistakes are in his lower body not his upper body. so him over straining when trying to "throw harder" will then hurt himself

at about 1;13 ish look at the way he brings his leg up and loads,,this kid would benefit by rotating his bottom half more to create more rotation seperation and whip..the kid devolops no rotation with his lower body

Disagree with that bit about how weight training and long toss will get him hurt. If you long toss right its no problem. And I've done a lot of different weight stuff even crossfit and haven't been hurt.

@southwesthighpitcher I would try to debunk that... But I couldn't understand anything you just wrote. Seriously, please try to learn english to join an english conversation.
