Thank you for this video lesson. It is very helpful to see what InDesign CS5 is capable of. However, I ran into the same problem 'hellohammo' did. I have a stack of 20 image right on top of each other (same frame size) and want them to fade into eachother. I tried the animation panel with 'fade in' option and nothing happens, but only the first image fades in. The rest don't show up at all. Then I added 'loop', but some weird quick strobing like effect happened, and not all images went through.
Thanks so much this is very helpful. I have a question though...If I wanted an endless loop of images that transition, how would I got about that? I tried your technique with just 3 images on top of each other, used the Fade In, but couldn't find a way for them to fade continuously...looping just added some odd strobing affects! :) Thanks for your help!
I followed your slideshow instructions --thanks, it was very clear! Quick question: I wanted an audio playing in the background as my pictures faded in and out....can you tell me how to do this?
I've tried to use "timing" but it slots the audio at a specific point versus the WHOLE time the pictures are fading in and out. I've also tried "linking" the audio with the pictures, but I lose the fading effect....
