Beer fridge & See thru motor project

I have an outdoor beer fridge and Caswell and I did another project... we put together a working model of a car engine... it was rather difficult actually, since the parts were plastic... but we got it!

i built the Smitsonian Motor works project with my 5 yr old nephew.

I definately needed a power screw driver to put the thing together. My hands were sore turning in screw after screw and tightning it. Also the madness of having the drive belt slip off and having to disassemble stuff just to put it back on. Finally i got it all together and working.

Your LEDs are incorrectly placed. They should light up when the piston hits the top. You have the wrong sequence. My LEDs are white.

@orangedac Yes, it was definitely hard on the hands tightening the screws... and I know about the LED's actually but didn't bother to try and fix them... LOL my son never knew the difference... and by the time I was done making it... I just wanted to be DONE!

kool motor.. how much horse power does it have? looks really fast..

That's freakin' sweet!!! I sooo want to go to the Smithsonian! I've wanted to go ever since I heard about the museums in 8th grade!!!! Haha, he seems SUPER excited! Dang! Caswell gets some BA gifts!! Come'on Chris, you know you wanna join the Snow Angel in shorts club! lol

Nice fridge and it doesn't even cost money to run :) I was really into building things when I was younger, that motor would've been right up my alley! It's crazy how the snow didn't even last a day... we went out and played with it before it melted though. So far I've avoided the bald spot but I do have a pretty bad receding hair line.... does that mean I'm getting old?
