OHMYGOSH!!! I wanted to do that so bad!!!! WOW!! :D Kudos to the max, that was my favorite part about London! Well, I loved it in general, but Bath was my favorite day..

@Indygoguy there is lead in there...it is thousands of years old. if that lead got in your blood system you will get blood poisoning and die. dipshit people have already been seriously ill and infact almost died from doing it. you know literally nothing about the roman baths yet i live just 4 mins away from it. i know for a FACT
that if you go in that water you can get a very horrible disease that can kill you. it's not the water that will kill you, its whats IN the water that can kill you. spaz

Frankly I could not careless about whatever you might pick up from the bath. It is highly unlikely to be deadly, but it wont do you any good. If you cant work out that this was dumb idea from the fact this is an algae filled lead basin then you are just plain stupid. What annoys me is that it is people like you that make the Roman Baths Museum wary about increasing public access. There is lots of the Bath few see exactly because they think people like you will damage it if they open it.

2. There's some pretty lethal bacteria in the water - yes someone did die
3. People fall in by accident often, it's no big deal. It does not make you cool.
4. Being American doesn't entitle you to act like a prat in other countries. Please grow up before you visit the UK again (preferably don't visit again)
