  • I'm on a budget is this software expensive in cost? Since I'm an amateur is this a better alternative to Adobe After Effects? This software looks really interesting I want to do a lot of effects shots as well can I use this software to combine videos into a single video segment. If it is expensive can I get it cheaply I'm currently unemployed so my finances are extremely limited. In fact I would say my budget is really very limited!

  • @blameist I don't work with FXHome, (creators of Hitfilm) but this software is hard to use, but turns out great. Yes, it is a alternative to Adobe After Effects, and cheaper. In British Pounds, Hitfilm Standard is £100-£200, whilst Hitfilm Ultimate is £200-£400. Adobe After Effects is £500. Amazing. Anyway, I think Hitfilm is just Adobe After Effects but cheaper and more presets. Hope this helps.

  • @cpPaulnash After Effects is actually over £1000, not including additional plugins you'd need to buy to get some of the same effects that come with HitFilm Ultimate.

  • @blameist You can find out full details and try the demo over at the HitFilm website. :)

  • can you do this in hitfilm standard as well

  • @blastlaughs You can indeed!

  • @AnotherDoctorWhoNerd Please submit a support ticket over on the HitFilm website and include your project file. We can then take a closer look to see what's going on. Thanks!

  • @FXhomeHitFilm Now that just made my day. :)

  • This looks almost better than After Effects. The tutorials are clear and concise, some effects are already built in, and the narrators are British. British, I tell you!
