Brian is such an English gentleman and such a genuinely good soul. We can all be grateful he pulled out of depression. As for the Red Special, it is like the Red Violin, it has a soul of its own.

i too made a guitar when i was a kid. it was a paper plate with a plastic tube thing taped to it. didn't sound quite as good as Brian's.

that's what i admire most about Brian May. while others are childishly smashing fine instruments, he's creating them out of toilet seats and other odds and sods. genius.
