@jlambert321 Conventional flow or hole flow vs electron flow or negative charge flow are both worthwhile and accurate . Do not get snarky.
-
What an ingenious little design, Props to whoever figured that one out.
-
I needed this, thanks.

@petahbread14 magnetism pulls the flow through the top left diode instead of the bottom left, also the flow has already travelled where the bottom left diode is pointing, AND if it went through the mentioned diode, it wouldnt be able to flow to the de-charge (or something like that) point :) (may be difficult to understand, excuse me, im norwegian :P)
-
well this now explains it to me.....THANKS.
-
this helped a lot, but can anyone tell me why when there is negative current, there is no current flow through the bottom left diode?
-
very nice .. but needs to bee way loooonger
-
Nice, but needs to be longer.
as we know, diode's only conduct "against the arrow" this current flow in this animation is worthless,
is not accurate,

@jlambert321 The dots moving represent conventional current flow, which goes "with the arrow", not the microscopic motion of negative electrons. I've had a lot of compliments on this series of animations, from students and from other teachers. The animations are hardly worthless.
