Hi m friend! I am going t use my mamba 7700 with a DesirePower 5S. Is it very danger for mamba? Some advise for the high temp?? 3s is more safe?

Hi,

5S is not really recommended at all so try 3S or 4S first imo. Don't gear to tall either. But 5S do work but only for short speed runs.

I have the TC4 as well and powered it with the Novak Velocity 3.5 turn brushless / GTB ESC and a LiPo battery. Brushless and LiPo is the way to go - I melted a Nicad pack because the brushless drained so much current the Nicad couldnt cope with the gearing I was using - too ambitious lol
