Wow it took 12 hours to get a mac fanboy! They must be slipping. I will say however yes superior customer service. But then again, I'd get better customer service from an angry pimp at this point.

@gladstonew Can I assume they eventually fixed your computer? It looked to me like the graphics chip built into the processor was failing intermittently, I don't suppose if they fixed it they would have told you exactly what was wrong would they? By the way, I think your desk is fine and highly unlikely to result in a ventilation issue.

Would it help to buy from a reseller? I mean, some store that has good customer service, would they help with this? I don't expect the manufacturers to matter that much since most computers in the world are assembled by two companies. Foxconn and Quanta.

Welp, guess what desktop brand I'm not buying in the future?

Like @savcam500 said, SEND IT TO JOHN CHEESE FOR FREE!

Ha! That's why I build my own computers with a Mac OS. Oh, and my mom's dead, you sick necro perv.

Send it to John Cheese.

I believe customer service & hardware quality are why everyone I asked told me to get Acer & not Asus.

Hey Gladstone, how about an article on the top 10 worst customer services? That's the kind of article that, if you get any negative feedback at all, will be from someone working from those companies.

Toshiba done basically the same thing to me, why can't they just test the machines before saying it's "fixed"
Dude, seriously? Next time you have computer problems, I could fix it better than they could.
Also, the thing about building your own computer? That just means a person thinks they have a handle on the software issues, as well. Which this probably was.

@RavenRabbitNumberTwo Could you send me a new one for free? BC that's what ultimately happened. It was hardware failure of an under warranty unit. Not like some virus or something.

How long did you have the door closed without any kind of fresh air ventilation with your desktop inside it before your motherboard/cpu fried? You do realize, if you have no fresh air ventilation it will overheat your computer and fry that little microprocessor within a day or so?
timeaxis1 2 months ago
@timeaxis1 That would 0. 0 seconds. You saw the video right? the door was never shut and it didnt work instantly so.... yeah. Also, it was not in that unit before it broke. Great.

LordZope the computer came preloaded with windows so it woudl still be an Asus problem. But actually know the problem was resolved but they sent it back with the disc drive missing so there's that.
