I've been playing this again on my PC. I think I just need to interrogate a leader to find Mars and build the Ultimate Craft and I'm set to fuck up the Alien race! I'm much more strategic playing it now than when I played it in the 90's - I'll have to try a harder difficulty next time. It's September in the the first year (1999) and I have like $23 000 000 000 (ya million)!

@JSHADOWM It gets better, Firaxis is making an X-Com turn-based tactical game set in 2015. It is going to be excellent. They even have the same guy doing the sound for this game that did the sound for the '93 original.

i tried to play on pc but cant no sound etc tried dosbox didnt work played this when i had a 454mhtz in the 90s wish i can i have all of them few copies of each and cant play lol.

Lol you really exploited the alien inventory bug. Don't worry, I do that plenty of times. Usually I just shoot them with my own guys since it gives them the Firing Accuracy experience but your way works too. Although just as a note, I've noticed that any flying unit has a small chance of seeing through a corner where the roof and the wall meet. They can't shoot them, but mind control sure works fine in that respect. Oh, and there's a whole bunch of exploitable bugs in this game. Ex.: Chryssalids
