Ahead of their new CD, this longtime trio staged a live recording at their haunt Ortlieb's, where they have been the Haus Band for 15 years. With Joe Magnarelli, Joe Ford, John Blake, and Clifford Adams, with a cameo from Jeff "Tain" Watts.

  • Very nice Softly guys!

  • Mike said it: "It's the Music! And it's for all of us!

  • Aww man, I just heard he passed. I'll never forget the time earlier this year that I got a chance not only to meet and talk to him, but to also sit in on drums and jam with him at Grey's Lounge in Philly. I'm glad I ugot a chance to tell him that Grover's Reed Seed, Paradise, and Live at the Bijou were some of my all-time favorite albums due in no small part to his contributions. Rest in peace, James "Sid" Simmons.

  • Peace Sid
