What a friendly animal. Suck good natured things. probably all deer would be like this if we didn't hunt them... but hunting is fun and deer are tasty so we'll have to be content just watching friendly deer on youtube.... :(

@MsMarnold We are not attempting to tease it, due to the unique yet unseen height of this window, the elk is simply having an issue with picking up the apples... As well, the elks in this town are highly domesticated and are almost to be considered tame for all purposes necessary. Many people feed them, and this elk has actually never been to our house again.
