  • It is not necessary to say "cooking" oil. We know you don't mean motor oil. It is also not necessary to say "cooking" pot. We know you don't mean smoking pot.

  • @20rheniel you can do it in less than 2 hours, prep time included, if you're using a pressure cooker. the ox feet and tripe become very tender within 40-50 minutes. if you're going to boil them the traditional way, you will need 4-6 hours.

  • @12260941 yes, you can. it's much tastier too. however, callos with shanks instead of beef pata will not be as thick. and the broth won't be sticky.

  • it's the first time i made callos and i followed your recipe for the most part, using less peas than the recipe called for. about half. it turned out good naman. i would also suggest to lace the sauce with 2 tbsps of bacardi. it makes for a more flavorful dish (i tried it myself).
