Established in 1947 on Long Island, Upton, New York, Brookhaven is a multi-program national laboratory operated by Brookhaven Science Associates for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). Six Nobel Prizes have been awarded for discoveries made at the Lab. Brookhaven has a staff of approximately 3,000 scientists, engineers, technicians and support staff and over 4,000 guest researchers annually.
@caguas99 Is it not through "discovery" that we will find ways to reduce our dependence on oil? Do you think that nothing has been done in this area? Oil burners in the home use retention head technology to conserve fuel. Guess where that started. Google: bnl.gov/est/files/pdf/OilheatCombustion.pdf
How about solar energy research. Google: bnl.gov/energy/solar.asp
You really need to do your homework before condemning something through personal ignorance.

So many years of discovery yet little done solving issues that are killing our environment. The Petroleum Oil companies and Oil producing countries still haven't reduced their grip on the USA and our addiction to these oil based products and oil produced vehicles. Let's get beyond discovery and stopping our dependency on oil fuels.

Too bad poisoned everyone that lives in the vicinity with toxic waste and most likely still are.

Sounds like a continuation and a glamorous makeover of the MK Ultra program and Montauk. Also sounds like the Hadron collider
