The Los Angeles Lakers took on the San Antonio Spurs in Game 4 of the 2008 NBA Western Conference Finals at Att Center on Tuesday, May 27, 2008. Lead by Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol Derek Fisher, and Lamar Odom, the Lakers defiantly defeated the Spurs in a battled contest. The Lakers won the game 93 to 91 with a desperation three attempted by Brent Barry not going in.

A few seconds before, Derek Fisher shot hit the rim, but the referees called it an air ball and subsequently became a turnover where the Spurs had a chance to win. The shotclock was suppose to be reset for the Lakers with 2.1 seconds left.

GO LAKERS GO!!! Make some noise LAKER FANS!! Be LOUD! Be PROUD! Be a LAKER!!!

  • the last game of big shot rob

  • one more thing, a team with kobe bryant, pau gasol, lamar odom, and ron artest is no regular team. u already have pieces there to constantly contend for a title. all u need is a coach that knows how to use his chess pieces. del harris had three seasons with shaq, kobe, and the guys and never made it to the finals. phil has the same guys for his first year and wins a championship. thats cause phil has a system that makes his players become more efficient. the system is in place for the lakers.

  • but i think losing phil, will be a big in someways also. its like losing your general. because of phils reputation, i think players respect him more and trust him. he was the head coach of michael jordan. i think mentally, phil will be missed which could have an impact on the court. plus, phil jackson is a basketball guru. he really understands the game.

  • @vergajo222 as phil jackson will retire, the system will still be there in terms of the triangle offense. word is that brian shaw has a good grasp on the current system that the lakers run or possibly kurt rambis who is also a defensive minded head coach like phil jackson. thats what phil jackson is, a defensive minded coach first hand. lakers will be fine and phil jackson will still be with the lakers organization, just not on the court on gameday.

  • @vergajo222 while i do agree with u that the lakers win because they have "style", a system (triangle offense), but the triangle offense isnt a phil jackson thing. sure, phil has adopted and understands the triangle offense but its not his "style". its tex winters who created the triangle offense for the bulls and now the lakers. tex is still associated with the lakers organization but no longer on the bench. thus, the triangle has passed to the lakers coaching staff and as phil retires

  • spurs are a better team this season and have a big chance to get the revenge

  • @ballainternational

lakers win because they have an style with that coach phil jackson once phil jackson leaves odom and bryant.. lakers will be just a regular team again....

  • @billslover90

i agree man once ginobili leaves spurs are done..... but the same for lakers once odom and bryant leaves is done for them tooo

  • @2pacisthebest90 they're only 12-1 right now...

  • @2pacisthebest90 they're boring. no wonder the nba was better with the chicago bulls. and its all over once duncan and ginobili leave.
