The ad is set in the courtyard of a house in a small Indian town. The snooty wife of the henpecked man of the house has ordered the demolition of the tulsi plant structure which holds great symbolic and religious significance for Hindu families. The structure is standing in the space in which she wants to park her new car. Tradition versus modernity...Old values versus new ones....Youth versus old age. All these themes play out during the span of this 40 second TV commercial on air on Indian television.
