@deaner13 the 1.8 ltr. omega was available (in germany) as followed: 1.8 (18NV) 60 kW not regulated catalytic | 1.8 (18SV) 66 kW no catalytic | 1.8S (E18NVR) 65 kW no catalytic | 1.8i (18SEH) 85 kW no catalytic. the 18NV and SV were only built from 09/86 - 08/87 because they were too underpowered and need a lot of fuel. my sister had a 18NV in 1987, the acceleration was like a bicycle on a hill =( . i guess vauxhall used similar engines but not sure...

my mate has a 2.0l gsi and thinks its the best thing since sliced bread but bearing in mind he has had it 10 years and only put 7 thousand miles on the clock no wonder its so reliable it never goes anywhere!!!!! Plus the only vauxhall i ever owned fell to bits hence why i am a mercedes driver now and have been for well over 10 years
