  • drama was a great record, 90125 controversial but a good record, big generator trevor rabin had too much control and the music suffered, union a painful listen you can almost hear those involved fighting for space too minouvre in each of the songs, talk trevor rabins swansong and underrated but not great, and keys to ascension finally yes back on form, after that i am yet too discover but it sounds good

  • Open Your Eyes is a little bit underrated, although the production is a little too glossy and poppy -- nevertheless, there's some gems on there if you liked any of the Rabin albums.

The Ladder is a near-masterpiece, although should've had a few songs trimmed. Production, playing, instrumentation, lyrics: all top-notch. Best Yes album since 90125.

Magnification is another great release, and although not as good as The Ladder, was a beautiful sendoff to Anderson and Wakeman (on the tours.)

  • Just incredible

  • Last great Yes album, in my opinion, was Going For the One. And their best ever was Close to the Edge

  • Cheers!...to another fine Yes compilations...and nicely put together...smoothly~

  • @MiddSouthFootball09 Keys and the Ladder were really far superior to Magnification...a dark album that really didn't feature JA...

  • Once again...your timing is outstanding...focusing on the high points of the this period of YES music...featuring JA at his most brilliant! Steve Howe and Anderson are the two true stars for this time of music...and life. Great work...

  • How did you make these sound so good?!! - or does everybody else do a crappy job uploading songs?

  • The ABC of Yes today... The Anderson version; the Benoit version, & the Circa version: probably in that order!

    PS Nice selection of here.

  • @TheProgNerd Nice to see positive comments about "The Ladder", most Yesfans I've spoken to, say Magnification was way better, and while I like Magnification alot, "The Ladder" was a tremendous album, and I do agree, could've done without a track or two, IMO, like "To Be Alive", but tracks like "Homeworld", "It Will Be A Good Day", "The Messenger", "Nine Voices" etc, to me, are great because they got back to making solid Yes music that was rich in melody, harmonies, and musicianship of course!

  • there are many sections and individual songs of the 80's YES that work quite well but overall there was something missing. Sometimes it sounded like YES-Lite or the trying to imitate themselves. Listening to this collage does remind of the few gems here and there. Also as long as Jon was there it still maintained that signature voice which always helped.

  • @TheProgNerd "The Ladder" was a great album... that was really a send off for YES itself...ie..no longer any new music getting air-time. I would suggest that "Keys To Ascension" was truely a great album also...w/ "Be The One" a true classic...I have often called this song...the greatest song never heard (played on the airwaves). It should have been a comeback song and album..."The "All in All " segment of "That That is" is Anderson at his very best. CLASSIC YES!!!
