  • does anyone know of anyone building a solid wood wall or house using 2x4 or 2x6 dimensional lumber? I think that 2x4s could be stacked flat on eac other like a log house and just nailed one to the next perhaps a verticle nailled into openings . Same for the roof and floor over doubled up joists. Then mabey a flat sod roof. e-mail me if you know of something done like this or have sugestions about it. bryncomeaux@yahoo.com thanks
