They're finally coming out with a season 1 dvd set of One Step Beyond. OSB has always been available on DVD, but those were random public domain episodes put out by every fly by night DVD company. This one will be the official release. I imagine the episodes will be of better viewing quality because of this.

Originally aired as "ALCOA PRESENTS: ONE STEP BEYOND" on December 22, 1959. Patty McCormack was best known for playing 'Rhoda Penmark', "The Bad Seed", on Broadway and in the 1956 movie adaptation. She was also the original 'Helen Keller' in the live 1957 "PLAYHOUSE 90" production of "The Miracle Worker". Eileen Ryan, playing her mother here, was the real-life mother of Sean Penn, whose father was co-star Leo Penn (later a prominent director).
