I'd agree with that, Cynic tends to tour with somewhat unrelated musically speaking, headliners and other bands in general. The only other band on that tour that I think was really musically speaking quite similar to Cynic, would have been Scale The Summit.

@XxSconeManxX I honestly don't think it's that crazy, considering BTBAM probably has triple the material that Cynic does. I understand what you're saying, but logistically, I think it makes sense that they headlined over Cynic. The tour Cynic is about to go on, and is headlining, makes a lot more sense than the BTBAM tour, however.

Yes, I'm well aware of that, it doesn't change the fact that it's still a pretty ridiculous how a band that didn't even exist during Cynic's original run headlines over them over the fact that more people like them. Popularity has absolutely nothing to do with musical talent and presence, anyone who thinks otherwise needs to seriously reconsider their beliefs in art and personal expression.

@XxSconeManxX It's all about the draw. There's no way Cynic is bringing more people out to a show than BTBAM, whether they're more influential / better or not.
