I was a grunt with Delta 1/4 1968-69. Respect and love to all my Brothers. Semper Fi!

Semper Fi,
I was in the 1/9 and there aren't any videos here on You tube.
I had a guy on a job say that we made it bad for 2/9!

Been there, done that. Was in H/2/9 from May '65 to Oct '66 when my platoon was transferred to M/3/9 after they lost a platoon in an ambush. I was at Duong Son, Cam Ne and other villes south of Da Nang. I was a 19 year old lance corporal then. Seems like not that long ago....

"The Marines I have seen around the world have the cleanest bodies, the filthiest minds, the highest morale, and the lowest morals of any group of animals I have ever seen. Thank God for the United States Marine Corps!" Eleanor Roosevelt
This explains a lot.

Nicely done. My sister's HS classmate, PFC. James S. Perez was in H&S CO, 2ND BN, 9TH MARINES, 3RD MARDIV, III MAF. He was KIA on 4 SEP 1967. God bless all of you.
