Pictures of 2/9 Marines in Vietnam. All volunteer. All Brothers of mine. These Marines fought for the freedom of people they never met, but died for the brothers they knew. Your welcome to leave comments, but don't even think about disrespecting these Marines.

  • I was a grunt with Delta 1/4 1968-69. Respect and love to all my Brothers. Semper Fi!

  • Semper Fi,

I was in the 1/9 and there aren't any videos here on You tube.

I had a guy on a job say that we made it bad for 2/9!

  • Been there, done that. Was in H/2/9 from May '65 to Oct '66 when my platoon was transferred to M/3/9 after they lost a platoon in an ambush. I was at Duong Son, Cam Ne and other villes south of Da Nang. I was a 19 year old lance corporal then. Seems like not that long ago....

  • Thanks............ HM2 "DOC" Ray Semper Fidelis

  • "The Marines I have seen around the world have the cleanest bodies, the filthiest minds, the highest morale, and the lowest morals of any group of animals I have ever seen. Thank God for the United States Marine Corps!" Eleanor Roosevelt

    This explains a lot.

  • Nicely done. My sister's HS classmate, PFC. James S. Perez was in H&S CO, 2ND BN, 9TH MARINES, 3RD MARDIV, III MAF. He was KIA on 4 SEP 1967. God bless all of you.
