My God, this is the fourth Abney Park song Ive gone to that has ZERO DISLIKES!!! AMASING!

@WickedLittleMEL Have people said negative things about Jody? If so, why? Some fans of Finn upset she left the band? I love Finn but she decided to go her own way, no harm in that.
-
@caramelkoopa I want to argue the point, but I think any song with Jody is her best. :)

On the issue of Jody:
She is a beautiful vocalist. She and Robert make a wonderful team. They make the vocals of the songs seem much more like a coin- with two sides that are different but go together perfectly- than most actual duets.
This song is definately her best.

@Jewawah Kristina is his wife, the keyboard player who's been in the band since the beginning. Jody is his little cousin, and most people think she's amazing, including Robert. Robert has stated that he doesn't want anyone posting negative comments about who they do/don't think should be in the band. It's up to the band who is in the band.

This whole album reminds me of Firefly.

I think this is one of my all time favorite AP songs.

@Jewawah Actually, Jody is Rob's cousin. Kristina is his wife (keyboards). I like Jody's voice a lot, but I also like Rob singing the lead.

smexy. :P
I'm not the Abney Park demographic, but they're so innovative and musical that I can't resist.
I think there's always the inclination to believe that the first songs you hear are the 'genuine' sound of a band, and I was dubious about Jody's ability to nail the wordless ululation of the previous singers.
But DAMN. Her vocals on this song--and Letters--elevate the sound to a whole new level. This is exactly how to use her. Not like the other vocalists: like herself.
Tremendous. I'm awestruck.

I'd love to hear a song when Robert's and Jody's roles are reversed, just to make things interesting. Not that this already isn't.
