@valhala56 when anysystem becomes corrupt. you shouldn't blame the system but the people in charge who let it become corrupt. there is nothing wrong with capitalism except it has become corrupt ! those at the top should be charged and hung in public to let it be known what is to come of those who try and enslave the people! white collar crime penalties are the biggest discrace of our time ! they effect millions yet these criminals serve little or no time. HENCE THE BANKER BAILOUT! NO JAIL TIME!

"Guaranteed quality by the government" only comes using the force and threat of violence. The only road to this apparent utopia is a very violent and oppressed one. I'll never defend the current corporatocracy/oligopoly. But, trying to fix someone else's problems using violence is not a "solution" I want to be part of.

@55ella2007k - It seems to me that you made a knee jerk reaction without actually fully listening mystic's full video or without understanding it. Example: He specifically said that health care and some other parts of society should be communist. If I were you I would take this video down and redo it after actually watching his video from a non-reactive standpoint. Right now this video is filled with unintentional straw man arguments.

Basic needs are not neglected under capitalism. The piece both of you leave out is that people come in kinship units, and with a functioning (ie. pre-feminist) family set up, kin share. If one is disabled, the rest of the family hunker down and provide.
Of course, once the state assumes these functions, the kinship network retreats to a vestigal role, as it has to day. But that wasn't the case when the US was capitalist.
