In the book though the weapon didn't blow all the ships up... Just owned the shields and overloaded some systems, ended up being the Paladin's that blew everything up with 1 shot per ship.

@bldude2 whats even more impressive is that if you read the book it was apparently a weapon mounted on an earth freighter. In other words that 20,000 year old weapons was civilian grade XD. Wonder what their actual military tech was like.

No.. I guess it's the Abaddon with a Weapon found by EVE Gate.. It's an Earth weapon.. It's in the Empyrean Age book. ;)
