The success of the television series COMBAT in 1989 prompted Central Television to invite the Army to restage the competition in 1990. COMBAT 90 was to be run as a competition between four infantry battalions each representing one of the Home Nations, a Military Triple Crown. 1 A&SH were selected to represent Scotland against 1 IG, 2 RRF and 1 RWF representing Ireland, England and Wales respectively

  • I was watching this thinking 'RWF for the win!'

Bugger, damn close though, seeing as they were leading earlier on - Well done the Argylls as Blesama said

And well done whoever uploaded this vid. Before my time but some good old school action and looks like it all took place in lovely SENTA too...

  • they have always been good. if u know anything about military history

  • Well done the jocks! Cannot help but think all the home nations have improved since this programme looking at our chaps in Afghanistan, not many paper pop up targets over there! Good vid though, was that Emlyn Hughes?
