The Sopranos-AJ's greatest scene

I think the puking was to simulate Aj's childishness. Like how a little kid throws a tantrum and sometimes tries to throw up for attention. Just shows the immaturity of Aj's character.

I wonder if anybody else thought about this. Aj in a way is a younger version of Little Carmine. Not as intelligent or as strong as their fathers, but forced to live in their shadows even when they don't want to. It's something that children of people who do profound things or are well known have to struggle with, no matter what the actual content of what their parents do. Imagine being Michael Jordan's kid, or Ghandi's kid. They'd have the same issue.

Ew why was he dry heaving???

yeah, seems like the kid never intended to go thru with it. just a cry for attention.

LMAO thats not my knife

Seriously, AJ in sixth season is a very interesting character. Another proof of The sopranos being the best show ever is that even in first season you can see his depresive thoughs, it's a very well formed character with a terrible ending

lol the puking was so random lolll.

@evilgoodness231 aj deserves an oscar for the puking
People moaning about AJ being terrible actor/character need to realise that if he is getting that much of a reaction from you he is obviously doing something right.

so AJ ends up with Tony's psychological problems and depression but without the mobster lifestyle to give him a sense of purpose and an outlet for his emotions. I think in the end, he's just confused and lost without much of a father to guide him (tony tries his best but can't involve him in the largest part of his life) and so AJ ends up as this whiny neurotic character that never grew up.
the reason why this show is so great is because of interesting characters like AJ
