Rules covered in this episode: *Outflank *Some special rules for Black Templars, Orks, and Tyranids
Director's notes:
We return to the battle report styled tutorial so that you can see the rules played out in a game. The sides are Black Templars vs Tyranids and Ork. Think of this as a 1 vs 2 game. We are at the top of turn 3 Tyranid/Ork Side going. If requested, I can see if I can post the actual army lists here. Please do not take this as an example of what to play, a lot of this was set up specifically to enhance the tutorial and get us into some tricky situations.

I stopped playing warhammer 40K when second edition came out... Did not have money/time. Came back at the tail end of 3rd edition and BT and Salamanders were first given rules in the Armageddon codex. I immediately loved the fluff of both armies. That day I got the 3rd edition starter set, armageddon and Space Marine codex, and I happen to be at the GW store the same day that they were doing giveaways. I ended up with a 5 man neophyte squad of BT. It nudged me in the black templar direction
i play warhammer. im prettty good but not perfect. i have space marines and i have 1 razorback, 5 space marine squads, 3 vindicators and a lascannon predator. (yet somehow i still lose....)
Then it's likely that you'll want to use terrain to your advantage (a 4 plus cover save is much better than a 6 plus armor save) and move your guys forward to get into assault. If you have the deffkoptaz from the Assault on Black Reach set, you really do add a lot of flexibility to your army.
ok....yeah i got that and i lose a ton of orks to my buddies space marine(those fuckers are tough) they save constantly(almost to a point that it seems a little OP). we are learning the basics before throwing in the vehicles and such..o we just use our infantry.
