The First And Second American Revolutions
-NOTICE-
A couple of mistakes were made in the making of this video:
1. There was a typo in Kingdom. It was spelt "Kindom".
2. The War for Southern Independence was less the 100 years after The War for American Independence.

  • The spirit of resistance to government is so valuable on certain occasions that I wish it to be always kept alive.

    Thomas Jefferson (1743 - 1826)

  • @EnderGhost119 The CSA was founded because the southern states felt the need to separate from the rest, that is it. It had nothing to do with slavery or racism. If the south wanted to stay in the Union and slavery was the only issue the other states could have gone to war without seceding the Corwin amendment puts the slavery argument to rest. We could not stand the northeastern Yankees who were flooding into the rest of the north and starting to wield a large level of influence.

  • I want to transform the USA into the CSA

  • Time for another revolution asap!

  • my belief is , had they stayed in the south they would have won their Independance by simply defending their homeland. They were doing awesome the first half of the war, then they got hasty and wanted Gettysburg thats when things turned sour.

  • The Southern Confederate states knew that Secession was their right being they volunteered themselves into the Union, they could volunteer themselves out. Contrary to popular belief Lincoln was not strongly against slavery. Lincoln started the War by essentially occupation of southern cities with federal troops. the Confederate states saw this exactly as a threat to liberty, Just as their ancestors saw the British occupation. and withdrew from the union. Their "Lexington green" was at Sumtner.

  • Just goes to show; from 1776 to 1861 is, get this right now, 85 years, not 'over 100 years later. You will never make headway if you can't make the SIMPLEST statements. Til then, Shut The Hell UP!

  • @Tir1962 -Neo-Confederates are the morons, you shoeless booger-eating, sister-fucking hilljack.

Slavery was the cornerstone of the Confederacy just as Alexander Stephens said. Not that you sister-fuckers can read, but the Confederate Constitution, the Confederate leaders, the petitions of sucession, antebellum politics, all show that the South fought for slavery and white supremacy.

“I am not ashamed of having fought on the side of slavery " John S. Mosby.

  • Superb Video!

    D.V.

  • To true, If I had been their in that time I would have sided with the Confederacy regardless of the results.

  • @EnderGhost119 Yankees were culturally different to us in every way, still are. They wanted this nationalized empire that we have now instead of a free confederation of sovereign bodies that the Constitution lays out. It took 10 years to convert the US into a super state enslaving future generations to a central authority and I hope it doesn't take 10 more once this Government exhausts itself to make things right.
