@Lucuskane Trees by taking water produce oxygen & all that oxygen will end up outer space of that planet.We have opportunity to reach other solar systems lot faster than you can travel from US to Europe. @Lucuskane Yes I agree with you 100% human kind won't survive on this planet another 300 years cause this planet is aged to the point it won't be able hold life form hear soon. What I was trying to tell you we depend strongly another source of energy which is the food. Mars no longer is able to hold atmosphere, you know how much we depend on water if even we dig that planet for water you won't be able to grow anything on the surface of that planet.

@Levon9404 Could you please expand on that statement? It seems more abstract than you might consider. For example, what use is living >300 years on one planet with exponentially increasing population. Even worse, if we decide to settle on only this planet, its destruction will mean the end of humanity.

I'm wondering how many scientists NASA has like this guy? Mr Zubrin by traveling to Mars you wont be able solve future of the human kind. If you want to secure the future of the human kind find out why we eat & what is the meaning of that. Like that you will be able bring everlasting peace on this earth. There is no need for human kind eat food as long as we can increase the energy level within human body that will give humans thousands of years of life and ever lasting peace!!!

Robert Zubrin i want to tell you that you are so F*cking right, excuse my language. But it is so frustrating to hear everyboby say ''let us first solve all problems on earth before we spend so much money on mars'' If we keep on doing this, there will rise only more big problems. In the way Robert just explained to us. Every nation becomes every nations enemy. And we are heading towords that state rapidly.
