I did not find the book of this as interesting as the broadcast version,and the broadcast version is millions or billions of times better than the book.

I saw this nearly thirty years ago, it was scary in one way but it was also fun in that it was very much a Dr Who/Unit style story and the Colonel in this was very like Brigadier Alistair Lethbridge-stewart in many ways.
