Vibram Hi Trail Sole
The Vibram sole unit used on the Scarpa Kailash is incredibly light, yet unlike others who have tried to lighten soles by lowering the profile, it retains deep cleating that gives outstanding grip. Based on a Megabyte trekking mix, it gives great adhesion with easy self cleaning action during use. The combination of rubber outsole and ultra-Lite PU wedge gives great underfoot shock absorption.

Midsole - Comfort Flex
Using nylon for its permanent performance qualities, the comfort flex midsole is moulded so it has minimum flex in the heel section but gives comfortable flex in the forefoot area. It is used for walking and hillwalking footwear.

When u said "half a size", did u mean EURO half a size, because I noticed they were a little narrow on my feet as well, and I wear a size 10 US, which is size 43 EURO. Now, size 43.5 EURO is a size 10 1/3 US, which I think would fit me a little better than what I have now, because i want to run with a liner sock for my footwear system, so as to prevent blisters, also accounting for foot swelling in the spring/summer. Please let me know.

@TrinDawg37 Hey there, thanks for stopping by going up half a size, we were referring to going up half a size in a UK fitting, which would be the same for a EURO sizing too. Hope that helps!

Believe it or not but i do not use Scarpa shoes only for mountain but even at work. I have to stand and walk 8 hours a day. They're fantastic support and they very light.
