Miki was awarded the Most Popular New Star Talent Award.Miki is American Chinese youth talent.---
In addition to being trilingual in Chinese, Japanese and English, Miki also plays three musical instruments (piano, Pipa - Chinese lute and Liuquin - mini Chinese lute). As a result, Miki has extensive experience in the entertainment and arts industry. In the past, Miki has been involved in showcasing her musical and artistic talents on TV shows, commercials, and the radio. Mikis skills have earned her numerous awards and recognition. To name a few, Miki was selected for first place in the North California Chinese Recitation Contest, youngest bilingual master of ceremony for the annual concert of Firebird Chinese Youth Orchestra at California Theater in San Jose, a Cablevisions commercial directed by the well-known director Ivan Zacharias, a role in the Institute of Reading Development Video Companion DVD of Beverly Clearys The Mouse & the Motorcycle, and the lead singer and stage manager for Kwanzza musical performed at Walt Disney World in Florida. After the earthquake in Sichuan, China, Miki was invited to perform at several fundraising events to help the cause. Most recently, Miki was awarded the Most Popular New Star Talent Award at the New Star Talent Show hosted by World Journal Chinese newspaper.
