Following the path paved by pd's famous RockPatch, Ares fixes and enhances the Yuri's Revenge game engine in a variety of ways, allowing modders to expand the game with never before seen custom units.
However, unlike RockPatch and other exe patches, Ares does not modify the game's exe. Instead, Ares uses Syringe to inject its code into the game during runtime, leaving the original game unchanged, thus eliminating the need for backup exes or un-patchers.

NOTE: Ares is not a modification for Yuri's Revenge, it is something modders can base their mods on in order to use logics the original game did not provide. Also, certain features in the videos are only available in testing builds for now. Some parts of the video were done using the latest Mental Omega 3.0 beta version.

Hey how do you use the ai control command, all it does for me is changes my side over to the ai, and how do i control my own units while having the base i turned over be able to be destroyed?

@thaboss1451 Multi-engineer will be an additional option for skirmish games, you will be able to turn it on and off. Yes, Tiberian Sun's firestorm logic is available with Ares.

@MentalOmegaAPYR But ive got ares installed and no extra ai is installed. Is it supposed to show up in the skirmish menu under the ai options

@Tgspy312 No. If you run the game with Ares, the only thing you have to do is NOT select any AI players in a skirmish game. In normal YR you wouldn't be able to start the game like that, with Ares you can.
