I heard his latest song recently a few times on radio 2 - It still had that catchy sound that Gilbert is famous for, and was far better than anything most of today's 'modern' artists could produce.

One of the best singers of all time. In 1987 having tried for the good part of a decade, I finally got his greatest hits C.D. I was so happy to get it after trying dozens of places in several countries including Australia, Japan, The U.S. and all over the U.K. Oh how times have changed with downloads etc. you can get any record you want now. I hear he will be performing at Glastonbury and has a new single out called "Never Say Die" it's great but not on YouTube yet as of 27th June 2008
