  • Hey mate, great vids,

just wondering what year the bike is and are these forks similar to the ones on a 06 wr250f.

    Thanks.

  • @nickagery Thanks! 2003 YZ250F. They are similar but yours probably have a larger diameter fork tube.

  • It seems everyone is having problems with the bottom hex bolt because we dont have the special tool or an impact gun. I had the same problem on my YZ450F, I went to my local tyre fitter and used his impact gun, job done in seconds.

Keep the videos coming please, they are excellent, I learn more from them than I do from my manual.

  • @nigeybassman Yeah, impact guns make life a lot easier sometimes. LOL.. Thanks, I appreciate the positive feedback!

  • im having that same problem on my 98 yz125 my hex is just spinning the inner tubes, and i dont have and impack i only have have a hand one becuase i cant find a socket one. and not sure if i need or where i can get that special tool to hold the inner tubes was wondering if ya know..

    thanks.

  • @Crockrohr2 They sell them at Motosport and Rocky Mountain ATV.. At least they used to.

  • @Johnnysshop what about inner fork fluid. mine vacuumed itself.

  • @wilsoncfc1888 It sounds like it's just spinning in the tubes. Are you using an impact? If not you will need to purchased a special tool to hold the inside rods in place.

  • you know the hexagon screw type thing at the bottom that you use a impact on, i have a problem , mines wont tighten or loosen and when i push down on the forks , it is as if it is hittin the bottom, could you help me out

  • @dirtjumper7077 LOL.. I will eventually. Basically you just need to follow the steps of taking off the top cap, flushing the fluid out and adding where I start adding the fluid.
