O Magnum Mysterium is originally for Choir but H. Robert Reynolds did a great job arranging it for concert band. I hope you enjoy the Band version of this piece. :) it is beautiful.

  • Moments like 3:38 and 3:54 are the greatest feelings in the world when playing in an ensemble. I live for those moments.

  • Our band just played this today in rehearsal to honor a friend within the band who passed on two days ago... his parents were there and listened to us... it made an already powerful piece of music an unstoppable emotional force.

  • This had to be the most emotional piece for me in my band career so far. I played second horn and absolutely loved it. The dissonance was great and the climax was just phenomenal I really loved playing it.

  • Ive got a fever and the only prescription is more TUBA

  • Tumbs up if you r playing this!

  • Love the woodwind parts in this piece...so lush and beautiful <3

  • He's coming to my school to work with band and choir this spring! I play the euphonium solo(:

  • the epitomy of my high school band experience was playing this song

  • Beautifull piece of music... check the "klankkleur2012" version. It's even more powerfull...

  • my district honor band is playing this, conduct by H. Robert Reynolds himself along with Frank Ticheli conducting a few of his pieces.

  • Great song, but boring trombone part.

  • We are doing this as one of our district assessment pieces. It's such a honor to be playing it. when I found out I was fled with joy! My first run of this with my band was yesterday. I cried and got goose bumps. Reminded my a lot of when I did Hymn to a blue hour in All-State. no, it wasn't perfect.. but for the first time I felt like there was people who cared about what they were doing in my band. this hardly happens with slow pieces where Im from. What an awesome song to end high school with.
