  • It's great to hear Sidney himself say that about the last shot. I have always considered it my favorite shot of the best scene in cinema.

  • could u pls upload full commentary track as tribute to sidney lumet ,it ll be a gift for his passionate fans

  • Movie Making at its BEST!!!!

  • R.I.P. Sidney Lumet :(

  • 29 prisoners were killed not 19, and 10 more hostages (prison gaurds), sorry not trying to be rude I'm just letting you know :) It's cool though. I love the voice over!

  • I love that Lumet did a commentary for this and Network, especially what he says about the scene that begins at 2:36. This is so fucking great.....

  • @martorocks That sounds like Sidney Lumet...the director of the film. I think this clip may have been taken from the commentary of the DVD, where often they just improvise over the film as it plays... which may explain the slowness of the narration. I like it....and he's the director, he can talk as slow as he wants.

  • why does the narator talk so slowly?

  • yeah that was some really bad commentary =/
