  • @clockwork624

    yup, 1000 gb

  • do they have an External Hard Drive using infrared or Bluetooth or whatever so we don't need cables?

  • @rigenzea

maybe wi-fi would work, but other wireless would be very slow

  • Did you get this from Ecost or Newegg?

  • @ dakine425

  • Hard drives always show up on the computer as smaller than what it says on the box. That's because the computer measures kilobytes as 1024 bytes (2 to the 10th power or 2^10), MB as 1024*1024 bytes and GB as 1024^3 (cubed) bytes. Take 10^12 (1000 billion) and divide it by 1024^3 and it'll come up to about 930 (as in 930 GB on the computer). It's an advertisiing trick the manufacturers do.

  • thats crazy? my laptop only has 320GB :S

  • if i droped my terybyte and i was puting stuff on my terybyte will it crash?

  • *cough* making a minecraft server *cough* on that *cough*

  • @wpherigo1 It's not a trick, manufacturers use the real definition of KB MB GB TB and so on...

    1 KB = 1000B but 1 KiB = 1024B

  • @GearBuyersGuide not really m8 1TB = 1,000,202,039,296 bytes meaning thats a total of 931 gb's its just the way bytes add up :)

  • BEHOLD THE 1 TB who kick gb mb kb asses

  • I ran out of space on my TB harddrive

  • @Blacckkfire Duh?
