Where are they being set off at this year? When i was there Thursday, i was expecting to see them go off over the pond area, but instead, they went off at what looked like, behind or around Gate 9 area.

@001GenLee - Oh, I see that you did see and feel the awesome power from the fair. Yes, they moved us this year and we are close to Gate 9. There were good logistical reasons for moving usto a new location. No roads and no pedestrian areas on the fairgrounds have to be closed now during the fireworks now.

i don't like how they don't give the shells time to explode they continue to blast out 5 or more at a time that's why i don't like these NC state fair fireworks . They can do better than this,
