Kareiga Game Reserve / Sunway Travel Group

This malaria-free, "Big-5" private game reserve is set in 6000 hectares of pristine African wilderness bordered by the picturesque Kariega and Bushman's Rivers, just 10 minutes from Kenton-on-sea and 80 minutes from Port Elizabeth. Situated in the heart of 1820 Settler Country, the reserve is a natural extension to a trip along South Africa's famous Garden Route.

Kariega's accommodation is made up of 3 seperate
luxury lodges:
River Lodge is a 5-star quality lodge comprising 10 luxurious and spacious, air conditioned and tastefully appointed thatched suites which meander along the banks of the Bushman's River, offering the most discerning of guests luxury, peace and tranquillity. Unique features include a stunning outdoor heated pool and guests can enjoy excellent river fishing and crabbing.
Ukhozi Lodge truly captures the romance and intimacy of Africa. Nestled in the bush you will discover 10 superbly appointed air-conditioned luxury suites crafted from log, each with a private plunge pool and deck offering panoramic views of the valley.
Kariega Main Lodge offers families, friends and couples a relaxed and friendly environment to enjoy the African bush. All the log chalets are air conditioned, with en-suite bedrooms, and have large private viewing decks and some private pools.
