Gran Turismo 5 - Historic Race Car (B-Spec) - Côte d'Azur - Gold

Well, it was quite a surprise to win this one since I've tried countless times before and failed. Now here're some of my tips:

1) Re-enter the race if there is (or are) 2J car(s) in the leading grip place(s), I've had once the Toyota 7 chasing the 1st position 2J car for the whole last 2 laps and couldn't overtake;

2) Re-enter the race if there are two 2J cars in the race, normally one in the front, the other one just behind your car;

3) High level Bob will increase your winning chance, preferably more than level 20;

4) Fine tuned Toyota 7 Race Car will also increase your winning chance, less stress on Bob;

5) No (if) 2J Race Car in grip position 1 to 6 & 8 will significantly increase your winning chance as shown in the video. The 2J behind you would have hard time to catch up (or it would never catch up due to hitting the same barrier multi laps);

6) Once (if) Bob made his way to the 1st position, keep the Pace in the middle zone and you should be fine;

7) This "strategy" might save you tens of millions credits (wanna buy 2J Race Car?), as Toyota 7 is the prize car from Like The Wind (B-Spec) event.

PS: The prize car for winning the whole event - Alfa Romeo GIULIA TZ2 carrozzata da ZAGATO CN.AR750106 '65 (Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance Gran Turismo Trophy 2009, Premium). Yeah, the name is even longer than Top Gear's "Koenigseggggg......CCX" (Jeremy's bad joke).

Dampers - Defaults
Anti-Roll Bars - Both 3
Wheel Alignments - Defaults
Brake Balance - Both 7

Use the 2J chapparal with a stage 3 turbo and with medium race tires. Only other thing is that you need to drop max speed to 155mph or 250km/h.i won it 25 seconds in front of second

Man what were they thinking to chose this circuit for a B-Spec event? It's almost impossible, I have a 7 and I just win on 3rd and the cars block me when I go up on the first corner trying to overtake, I also tried your hint, the circuit is full of corners, and after the tunnel the bot hits the wall, well they should've chosen a better circuit like Trial Mountain or someother with more straights so that the 7 or the 2J could go fast and gain more advantage

Thank you!! I used your settings and my Bob is leading the pack clearly in 4th lap :D You don't know how much headache this has given to me... My only worry now is that 2J which is in the second place at the time of writing this... :O

@edononewheel i couldn't get it done in a toyota with this set up either... i tried several different setups but couldn't get any better then 2nd... what you need is a 2j. I did it with a level 21 "cold" driver, in a 2j with a turbo and stock settings. Didnt need to coach him at all, just clicked speed up twice at the start, changed the channel, and came back to a victory. . . use the spa seasonal b-spec to grind bspec levels if you need them though, easy win + exp
