After three months since Claire Redfield left with Leon and Sherry Raccoon City, Claire's issues look to Europe, his brother Chris. Traces of her lead up to the branch of Umbrella in Paris, where Claire is captured and subsequently transported to Rockfort Island, where he is thrown into prison. The entire island, however, soon turns into hell, because it is infested with T-Virus. Claire manages to escape and gets acquainted with one of the prisoners, whom Steve Burnside, and both decide to cooperate and leave the island. During the run, however, are confronted with Alfred Ashford, commander of the island, and also a descendant of the founder of the first virus and Umbrella. On the island, however, clashes with hard-Claire Albert Wesker, who is with his unit responsible for the outbreak on the island. Wesker wants at any cost to get a new T-Veronica virus, which secretly develops Ashford to revive his dead twin sister, Alexia. Claire and Steve manage to leave the island on the plane, but Ashford sets the autopilot in the aircraft so that they both just got into another secret base Umbrella, this time in Antarctica. Ashford launches another of Tyrants to kill them both, but instead the Tyrant fatally injured Ashford. Alexia goes to Antarctica, and Claire and Steve, capturing stops trying to escape from the base. Chris manages to get to Antarctica, and also frees Claire. Claire and Steve decides to save, but he was exposed to perverted attempt Alexie and was injected T-Virus. Steve begins to mutate and attack on Claire. However, the attack on Claire and Alexia, but Steve recovers and saves Claire, but he is wounded and dies. Steve turns back into his human form and dies in the arms of Claire that he knows love. Chris, meanwhile, falls foul again with Wesker, but this time their fight Alexia interrupts himself. Attacks on Wesker, but he runs away, leaving Chris alone to fight with Alexia. Chris kills Alexia, but they come to life again in a moment. Chris sets the auto-destruction of the entire complex, along with Claire and fleeing to the hangar, where the fighter is ready. On the way Chris meets with the mutated form of the last Alexie and kills her. Finally, the jackets again clashes with Wesker. In heavy fighting Wesker is badly wounded and Chris runs, but Wesker vows revenge. Chris gets into the hangar in time and start off with Claire before the explosion of the complex. Chris swears to destroy Umbrella once and for all ...
