Won this car on ebay, put in a bid thinking there was no way I could win it, but it happened. This one is a 96 Roadmaster WB4 (no wood grain). Has 150k miles, tan cloth, LT1 engine. It runs an drives great, but is rusted out beyond repair. Found a 2ft section of the frame that's rotted. This will become a parts car come spring. Too bad the previous owner never took care of it (washing the salt off). It would have been a really nice car.

  • aren't you glad you bought it off eBay?

  • @redneckratrodPat Thrilled. I would have looked at it before bidding if I was going to spend more on it.

  • that would have happened to my 89 chevy s10 if i didnt fix the floor.

  • This is why I like California cars...

  • @moldymac Yeah I think it does too. The seats in your 95 Roadmaster wagon are such a neat design and they look very comfortable and everyone says the best seats are in the 94-96 Roadmaster Limited Sedans since I think they were designed by orthopedic specialists. Plus those had heated/memory seats as an option. I have yet to even see one of these up close in person but I'm convinced that nothing beats an LT1 powered B Body wagon or sedan! I need to find one myself in the future!

  • @ghtowagon totally agree with you! I mess around with different cars and have driven a few different makes and models, but I still find myself back in a B-body. By far these are my favorite cars to drive and work on.

  • @mhtube01 I can't say much for the "premium" caprice seats as I have yet to own one with those in it, but I did ride in my friend's caprice that has those and I found them pretty comfortable. I think the year has something to do with seats too. I have leather seats out of a 93 in my 9C1 and find the leather in my 95 to be much more comfortable.

  • @moldymac Ohh ok. That's true for leather in the winter, and it also gets extremely hot in the summer. I just wondered cause I've heard people say the cloth is more comfortable in the Caprice but in the Roadmaster, Olds CC, and the Cadillac Fleetwood, the leather is more comfortable. Not sure why but I've seen some Caprices with the pillow style cloth seats and man they look like you could sleep in them.

  • @moldymac Oh heavens. I cringe just to think about it...
