This was a demo reel done by Richard Morton circa 1998. It's probably the only known live-action Robotech footage out there.

I feel like some important part of my childhood was a lie.
I feel resentful towards whoever is responsible for deceiving me about Macross.
I feel like there is some other reason they have done this.

i am going to giv eyou the best advice right now. work on the lighting. you nail the lighting and you nail the realism. the animation could use some slight tweaking but otherwise pretty cool.

I am aware of this, but it's almost certain that they won't use the Macross Saga as a basis for the story because of the still ongoing legal issues between HG/Tatsunoko and Bandai Visuals. It's not a good idea anyway to do a life action movie IMO. It worked for Transformers because that was a kids show originaly, but honestly I don't see how any good can come out of allowing hollywood to mess around with Robotech.
