  • Since when did that second bus run standard transit service???? didnt those buses run only rapid service???

man Downtown Phoenix has full of surprises as far as different buses go

  • Valley Metro ordered the first 50+ buses primarily for the Veolia-operated Rapid services, but the City of Tempe ordered 8 units of their own for RPTA-operated Valley Metro express lines such as the 521 and 522. At least that's my understanding....

  • Series 50 just dont go wight with this bus.

  • I have to disagree, I love this bus with a Series 50, it sounds tough and it does the job...I don't love it as much with an ISL-G...maybe it's because I'm so used to the first 100 (Metro Rapid ones) in LA...

  • Too bad the Detroit Diesel Series is not standard on buses anymore, listening to just "Cummins" engines is annoying.

  • oh how i love the NABI series 50 "hum"

  • @KoolCordell

must have been a TMC RTS bus that runs glendale express

  • I cant remember what bus it was but once i got picked in a bus that had stairs . it was the nicest bus i had ever ridden in AZ. it was a valley metro but didnt have a wheel chair thing it was super cold inside and was SOOO quiet. I loved it.

  • @flyerbuses5000 yeah?? checkout that second bus it runs TEMPE EXPRESS line and that bus has them electronic run sign on the front lower right of the bus (which is not normal) and with suburban reclincing seating and luggage RACKS and adjustable air vents!! Plus thats the only compobus i ever seen with opening sliding windows!!!

and yes that bus too has ROOF A/C with LNG type engine!

that first bus u see runs PHOENIX RAPID and both run to and from downtown PHOENIX but only 3 hours day/nigt

  • fucking tough these are better than LACMTAs tho

  • I think that second compobus is way better than Los Angeles compobus as that second bus also has opening windows and overhead compartments with semi surban seating

those are probly the best designed buses EVER!!!!!

  • @ea90744 Funny thing is, that CTA one, #7800, ran in Honolulu in 2009 as a demo numbered 999. Positive reviews from passengers and drivers alike, but no word as to whether this kind of bus is in the works for them. They just have DE60LFRs and 40-foot LFS's on order for now.

  • @cleanairbus I am with you on this 100 percent!

  • i love does nabi's and da nabi 40 lfw's them joints gansta
